2015: Photographic and 3D documentation of the temple of Zeus, Athens, Greece
Photographic documentation and 3D photogrammetric survey of the temple of Olympian Zeus in Athens, using a UAV carrier of a 12Mpixel camera, a DSLR camera of 22Mpixels on a crane and laser scans. The produced data have been used for a restoration survey. Aim of the survey was to analyze the current state of the monument and produce as built plans and in a later stage to suggest the required actions needed for restoring and maintaining the monument.
