2019: Documentation and 3D survey of the temple of “Panagia Petras”, Lesvos, Greece
Documentation of the infamous temple of “Panagia Glykofilousa” or “Panagia Petras” (Holly Mary) in Petra, Lesvos, Greece. The temple has numerous defects, so a restoration survey is essential. Using a 20Mpixels camera on a UAV, a 50Mpixels camera at ground and a laser scanner, an as built 3D model of the monument has been recorded. Aim of the project is to supply the information needed to the rest of the restoration team (Architects, Archaeologists, Civil Engineers) in order to conduct a restoration survey.
