2016: Documentation of Lamia’s castle
Photoshoot, video recording and 3D photogrammetric survey of Lamia’a castle, using a UAV carrier of a 12Mpixel camera. The produced data have been used for promotional purposes by the municipality of Lamia, but also as a base map for an underground survey using Ground Penetrating Radar. Aim of the survey was to discover if there are ancient ruins of a different era below the surface, because there is a rumor that bellow the castle lies the palace of Achilles, the legendary king of the Mirmidones of the Trojan War.
