2017: 3D survey using UAV of the Roman theater of Nicopolis, Preveza, Greece
Two stages survey (2016-2017) of the Roman theater of Nicopolis, near Preveza, Greece. Photographic documentation using aerial camera on a UAV, laser scans and classic surveying methods have been applied in order to produce besides the photographic documentation, an as built 3D model of the theater. Aim of the survey was to analyze the current state of the monument and produce as built plans and suggest the required actions needed for restoring and maintaining the monument.
