2015: Documentation and 3D representation of Vera shipwreck, Magnisia, Greece
The shipwreck of “Vera” lies on the Leuteris reef in Magnisia, Greece. Leuteris reef has a record, as the oldest reef signing work ever made, it is known since the ancient times and has been recorded in ancient texts as well. Beneath the reef, at approximately 25m depth lies the shipwreck of motor ship “Vera”. Aim of the project was to document the wreck and raise awareness for its protection. More than 2500 stills have been shot with DSLR camera in a housing and another 2500 with a stereo action cameras configuration. The results were, a short video clip of the wreck, thousands of still images and a 3D model.
